Even though Kawasaki sold only one pin for the hinge, we used the same pins for the center flapper

But, no more... So, what can be done?

We were using 4mm D2 Drill rod.
And it works.
But it seems to wear quicker than the stock pins
I was talking to Jeff Grabarger multi time KX500 Drag Champion about the issue and he turned me on to 4mm Drill blanks.
They are HARD

But... it will likely wear the drum valve slot faster than the D2 so there is a trade off.
Drums are going to be sold for a premium very soon as they will be discontinued.
So think twice before using the Drill blanks...
