What head work was done to your XRR?

I got some KLX info off a German guy, him and some friends were tuning their KLX's here is what he said:-

"Yes i have dynoed my first KLX. Constellation with Wössner 101mm,FCR41,R-CAM,Ignitech CDI,
R-Air-Box and holeshot muffler. It was 54,6HP! With Hot Cams Stage 1 => 59HP!

An other guy with a similar constellation an Hot Cam's Stage 3 and lightweight magnet wheel has 71HP!!!
But the power of this engine start first at 3800 U/min and ended at 8500 U/min .
I don't like this charakter for a Enduro Bike and it is to much loud!"

I think 8500 rpm is above the normal rev limit but he would have been able to modify that with the ignitec CDI. Oh what fun BHP is !!!

Hi, long time no action.
Got the front wheel chock done.

The chock is adjustable with the threaded bar. Once the bikes back wheel is at the right place on the roller the m20 bolts are screwed down to fix the position.

I tried a run tonight and I am still not getting a correct bhp reading. But I still have to go through the setup sometime with the U.K. Agent.

That's got to be the toughest bike dyno I have ever seen
It's amazing what all you did with it...

Head mods on the XR650R..
Cleaned up the factory casting.
Port matched the exhaust ports.
Enlarged and Polished the exhaust ports.
We used different valves then the stock ones and had to use new seats...
It's been to long to remember what all we did exactly but that's the basics.

Ill have to get that Klx finished first.

I actually had a thought the other day though, a amr500 supercharger might be fun on an Xr

Seriously though, gotta get the kawa done.

The bike does not take long to heat up on the dyno, so I've made a fan to cool things off. A 2.2kw 1ph motor driving a fan I bought off eBay as NOS, it was for a refrigeration unit. Rolled and fabbed a nozzle, this is very important in maximising efficiency, as little blade tip clearance as possible.

The phone shaking is because of the airflow. Keep children and small animals away

Just point that fan at them and they will be BLOWN away!
