One stripe down.
I'm sure that adds about 5 HP
Now I will wait till tomorrow to paint the other strip as I have to let it dry or I'll pull off the existing stripe with the tape

haha...you've really put some thought and a handful of time into this!....I remember when you posted this idea on KXriders,it started out a whole lot more basic than this!!.
I like it,can't wait to see it bolted up!!

Thanks!
Yeah I wanted to do a two part build on it.
Kxriders crashed before I could post the updates.
I went to their site today now that they are back up but they still have some missing data including my build....
I think the data is there but Danger will need to do some mods before it will be visible.
I hope so any way...

Ok here is a picture of the final product.
The first mod was quick and easy.
The second mod was a bit more work then I thought.
Although it would really help if I could weld aluminum myself and had some decent tools for cutting the aluminum.
I used a sawsall, jigsaw, and a bench grinder for most of the work on this so it takes a while
But hey, an extra 25 HP for the muffler and an additional 10 HP for the racing stripes, (5 HP each) it's a real bargain

If I were going to do another the only thing I would change would be the angle of the muffler.
For some reason (Just how it looked?) I used a 53 degree angle.
A 45 degree angle would have given me a bit more internal baffling and screen to work with and slightly less cutting once I got it apart.
But over all I am very happy how this turned out.
My next step on the muffler is some final polish and then I want to coat it with a product called Sharkhide Metal Protectant.
Look for that on a future product review.
