Tires won't be here till next week... :(
Oh well, I can still ride I just hate knobbie slides :D

I need to figure out how to carry some premix oil.
I like this idea:

Well.... I was way off.
How about some Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa's.
Front 120/70 ZR17
Rear 160/60 ZR17
I know... The rear will rub...
I didn't want a 160 in the rear, I wanted a 150.
My tire guy said he couldn't get what I wanted in a 150... (Cheap but awesome, actually trade)
I measured it at 155mm.
I measured what is on my bike right now and it is very close.
I guess we'll see when I get it mounted.
Unfortunately it won't be till next week as too much is happening right now..
These were mounted on a bike that took a couple of laps.
Still tons of life left :-)

Back from a Family riding emergency wink
Took the SM down and rode trails and gravel roads with a bald knobbie and ridiculous high gearing.
Can you say "Constant wheel spin?"
It was 75F and beautiful.
Max head temp 202F.
Max coolant temp 185F.
That was after riding for about 30 minutes and then sitting at idle for about 5 minutes.
Average head temp 160-170F
Average coolant temp 145-155F
I'll be pulling the clutch cover off and inspecting everything to see if I can find something unusual.
Been waiting for over a month for my clutch cover gaskets to come in.
It's time to light a fire as I have already called once....

So I picked up a set of Works Connection Frame guards.
The right side was a breeze and took all of about 2 minutes to install.
The left side wouldn't be bad except that I am using the Pro Motion Side stand and of course the two interfere with one another.. :o

I'm thinking about cutting the frame guard around the side stand as I have indicated in yellow.
It will still bolt up and work just fine but I was hoping for a better solution...

Ok, After getting the wheels on the bike I measured the highest part of the seat at 38.5".
The lowest part of the seat is at 35.5".
Taking it for my first ride with the new tires on it... :-o
