Port specs
Bottom of transfers 123 degrees
Top of transfers 156 degrees
Top of exhaust 181 degrees
The bottom of the exhaust port was actually a little below the piston height at bottom dead center.

Hmmm.
Doesn't look that much different then stock... In fact, I think it is a little under stock on the transfers..
More research is required.

I found some unverified stock cr500 port numbers.
Transfers 122 degrees
Exhaust 180 degrees

Hmmm...

My conclusions on this cylinder is that it is basically stock.
It's had the base machined and possibly the head.
There is no scallops for helping to start it easier... not really an issue for me.
But my big gripe is there is no exhaust port relieving.
I guess someone will be drilling some holes in their Wiseco piston :lol:
The ports have been cleaned up but that's about it.
The guy I received the cylinder said he paid $225 USD to have it done.
Seems a bit steep to me :roll:
