Of course, if the kx250 clutch cover sliced bread method works, there is some after market covers ready to go for 92-08.

Just because the 450F's won't work for the sliced bread method doesn't mean we couldn't use a stock or after market cover like this one from Moose:

Looks like the 96 KX250 Inner clutch cover might be a bit on the large size

I have a KX450F gasket coming to the shop tomorrow so we'll see what that leads to.
I got looking at the 450F Inner clutch cover again for doing the bread cutting method and it may yet still work.
I'll see how close the gasket is and go from there.
I need a small milling machine

The reason the Kx250 one is big.. is so there was room for your fingers while changing the clutch out....
perhapse this is why the one on destrys bike is from scratch..

Friend of mine (local) just bought a small CNC mill.
want to talk about a dangerous combination with me and having access to that thing

hmm... lets see... degree from UCSD's Jacobs school of engineering in ... Mechanical engineering.
and worked for solar turbines for 3 years as a Cad/cam designer.. (till I realized I did NOT want to live my life in a cubicle, and quit....)
