Here is a question from a member of another site:

just bought rad valve have 2002 kx500 currently running at 30 ft above sealevel in high humidity 95 degree summer days in Florida runs on 93 octane chevron pump gas mixed 40:1......39mm pwk currently has 168 main 58 that I think is a little too rich the needle is stock & in on the second position bike has fmf gold series gnarly with pc 304 silencer ngk br8eg plug does anyone have any jetting recommendations for this new radvalve setup? thanks for your time and input!

Transfers, ports, and bridges have all been cleaned but stock port timing

ok I rode today the bike was performing greatly did they plug chop at the end of my ride just to get an idea how it was running the plug was a medium to light brown not tan when I got home I pulled the plug and that is that the top of the plug where the wire connects was smashed deformed if you will have never seen anything like it any ideas I'm running a 165 main jet like you guys recommended at sea level with a rad valve and gnarly series fmf with a pro circuit 304 93 pump gas mixed 40 to 1 pilot jet is a 52 stock needle on the third position what smashed the little piece on the top of my plug and do I need to lean it out just a little to get a tan. Plug plz help me out thanks

My response:

Plug color?.... Whoa!!!!! I wouldn't go any leaner....

Smashed end? looks like it was done before it was put on the bike.
How does the plug wire cap attach to the spark plug, is it loose or tight?
If bikes are for kids I'll never grow up.
