I have for sale my 98 kx500. This bike is very powerful and very fun, it starts right up every time. I defiantly would not recommend this being someones first bike.
Pros: little add ons like steering dampener, tusk fork guards, hand guards (I have the one on throttle side off in one of the pictures), aluminum radiator shroud, good front tire, and a fatty pipe guard. Also comes with a stand, kick stand, front fender, silencer, mixing cup, 5 gal tank, oils and lubes, and recently cleaned carb. Not sure if it transfers over but the bike has a 2 year registration which was registered 5 months ago.
Cons: there is about a 4-5 inch opening in the seat where the stitching came out, small crack on top of right side fairing (it does not flap or move when riding). low tread on rear tire. some sort of shifting issue. I'm no mechanic by any means, but the only mechanical issue with the bike is the shifting lever is not fully engaging in gear. I have to tap the lever a couple of times to fully get the bike in gear, once bike is in gear it doesn't pop out of gear. so not sure what the exact problem is but motor is strong, powerful, and runs fine.

99 kx500, low hours on bike over all. Just completely gone through, and new piston/rings, new reeds. One use on rear tire, 80% on front. Factory works radiator gards, and skid plate with frame gards. FMF turbine core arrestor. Rebuilt suspension by duvol engineer. Front shocks do leek, but if you have them do the rebuild they will set it for your weight for free.. I have some extra parts. I have not ridden it in six years, until I broke it in. And it has even more power then I remember!! Title in had, cash only, and no test rides.

1997 Kawasaki KX500. runs perfect, no issues whatsoever. Black UFO plastics, IMS desert tank, Pro Circuit pipe, FMF spark arrestor, Pro-Taper bars, Moose Racing Bark Busters. ProMoto Billet kickstand, Trail tech endurance computer, Moose racing lighting coil and voltage regulator, dual sport style kill switch with light switch. there are no lights installed right now. Race Tech gold valves installed in forks and shock. these items were sent for installation by Race Tech by previous owner.......the suspension on this bike is awesome, plush in high speed stuff yet does not bottom out over good sized jumps. IMS Pro stock foot pegs. i have stuff to go with it as well, stock tank, pipe, FMF pipe rear tire is a bit worn, for some reason i have trouble keeping a fresh tire on it. i love this bike but i am putting it up for sale for financial reasons, however i am not desperate. $2000/obo clear title call or text kelly at 9368076

the plan was to ride dirtbikes before my daughter went off to college in Texas, but after servicing and brand new tires, it's not going to happen. Have paid all DMV fee's and have stickers and titles in hand. Both are in tip top condition and run perfectly, have brand new tires and are sure to please! I put alot of money into the KX500 suspension (setup to my weight of 275 lbs), changes all fluids, new $150 kickstand, ...etc. There is absolutely nothing wrong with either bike, I just didn't have the sack and my kid kept having golf tournaments and time wasted away, she leaves in 2 week's, so no riding going to happen here. $1800 for the Honda CRF150F and $2700 for KX500. willing to talk trades of all kinds, but prefer to sell the my daughters bike outright.

Bad ass woods buggy. 98% completed. Still needs brakes hooked up, shifter hooked up (Nice billet shifter), and clutch hooked up. Have enough spare engine parts to almost build another complete motor. 3 spare radiators, 2 spare spindles, spare clutch, spare brakes, spare reeds, etc. Front end is from a LT250. This is not a cart for kids. It is powered by a Kaw KX500 2 stroke engine. Got it here on CL as a project to finish with the kids but my car is in need of repair. Looking for cash or trade for a motorcycle. Cruiser, no crotch rockets. Maybe a dual sport. Must have street title.
