Hey Wardy.
I am very close to getting my next engine build done.
So I will be testing further but here are my thoughts.
Engine ice runs hotter then 50/50 green stuff.
But Engine ice does not boil over or cavitate like the 50/50 green stuff.
So, if you are having boil over problems but your cooling system is good, it might be good to run it, especially if you are playing with engine mods
In a stock bike with a good cooling system I'd run 50/50 green stuff.
I know that the 50/50 green stuff has it's limitations and should be changed often but I ran it for years in my original kx500 and never had any issues with it.
And every bike I had before my original kx500 ran the 50/50 green stuff.
So I have ran the 50/50 green stuff for about 30 years on non modified engines both street and dirt with zero problems.
It wasn't until I started modifying my engines that temps started to rise.
If I can keep my temps down running the 50/50 green stuff I will run that.
If the temps get past the boiling point then I'll run Engine ice.
I will be posting further results as I go on with the current build.
