New Nikasil cylinder and complete top end, big stator with two stage head light, have led light and brake switch for the rear fender, oversized tank, original tank, number plate, two extra sets of spokes, renthal chain wheels, original OEM manual, FMF Gnarly expansion chamber, FMF turbine core pipe, aftermarket reeds, and I am probably forgetting something. Only about 2 hours or so on bike as it currently sits. This bike is tuned for all day trail riding and it is fantastic.

1989 KX 500
Bought from my dads friend along time ago... The bike runs great. Used to ride local desert on the weekends, and long adventures in Mexico. Btw - Bike ran great in Mexico.
Haven't ridden it in awhile.

THIS BIKE IS THE KING OF THE DESERT!!!! There is not one trail that this1995 KX500 won't climb. On top of being the MOST POWERFUL BIKE AROUND it has a VERY PLUSH RIDE (lots of rear travel that the newer models can't compete with). You will notice the pipe, bars and muffler are all aftermarket upgrades. There is also a trip computer and a spedometor on the handle bars. This has the modern feature of water cooling without all of the hassels of charging and replacing a battery. This bike is always ready to go. You can read all of the reports about this bike and you will see why it keeps running without any of the issues you get with the newer bikes. Just clean the air filter every now and then, keep fluid in the radiator and you will always be ready to ride.
Clean Registration.
I have the BRAND NEW TAGS through 2012 but they did not get put on the bike. The bike has been covered and stored in the a garage. I pulled it out and it started after a few kicks. Everything on this KX500 runs perfectly.

This is a very nice KX500 that I have updated over the winter. The bike started life as a 1998 model. I have updated the front suspension to 2003 KX250 48mm forks (from the stock 46mm) with Emig Racing custom made triple clams, I had the forks and shock re-built and re-valved by Pro Circuit this spring for a 200lb B class rider. I also installed a new Pro-Circuit pipe, Magura hydrolic clutch (the lever has the pull of a 125 now), new wheel berings, Galfer braided steel "Honda" style front brake hose mated to a 280mm EBC oversize brake rotor. I have also put all new plastic (fenders, side plates and gas tank) on the bike along with 1989 style KX500 graphics, Boyesen Rad Valve, Boyesen ignition cover, Renthal Twin Wall handle bars, as well as Renthal chain and sprokets. Also, brand-new Dunlop MX51 tires front and rear. Very nice bike for anyone who would like to experience the thrill of riding one of the most coveted two stroke open bikes!
