More Team Green History

Team Green pulled out of Baja racing after the 1996 Baja 1000.......The following year Honda started their win streak in Baja since they had nobody to race against. Paul Krause was the rider of record for Kawasaki in 1996 and had the #1 plate......So without Team Green support Paul was gonna race the 1997 Baja 1000 on an all white KX500 built by White Brothers. This bike would carry the #1D instead of #1X in memory of Danny Hamel......Unfortunately Paul got food poisoning the day before the race and could not compete thus handing the victory over to Honda.....
