Cleaning up my KX500 cylinder before plating.
I am not an expert as I have NEVER tried this before.
I am enlisting the help of Motorrad to help me do this without too much damage :o

I know the edge looks sharp but it is rounded...

Seems there is a lot of casting flaws back in that area...
This reminds me of playing Operation when I was a kid... Touch the edges... EEEEEEE!!!!!! :lol:

dont forget to take pics of half a case bolted to the jug ......



the port that edge hits the CYL wall .. you want that pretty sharp... and blend it down into the port.


I recall you sending me pics of the intake FLOOR ports. I cant find em... too many methods of communication (phone, text, email, and 2 websites forums, and 2 sets of PM's..). repost whatever question that was
