Pretty simple instructions so lets get this test going...

What I have here is a rough cut piece of aluminum bar stock.
It's not something that I would normally try to polish without a little sanding or lapping first but for the sake of this test it's a go..
As you can see, this bar stock is very rough so this will show the cutting qualities of the polish.

This wouldn't be a good test without some competition so I am using some Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish to compare it against :)
In this pic I have used a simple shop rag (Not the best for either product) and applied it sparingly and rubbed each side 100 times and then cleaned it.
As you can see the Nuvite jumps out to an early lead in how it shines.
I'm guessing that since the Nuvite feels grittier then the Mothers that it is cutting better.

Again using the same rag and buffing pattern (Round and round) I have 300 total rubs on each side.
It's kind of hard to tell from the pics but the Nuvite continues to hold a lead.

Again using the same rag and buffing pattern (Round and round) I have 500 total rubs on each side.
Yes, my arm is getting very tired by now ;)
Again the Nuvite looks better.

So the last pic is with 1000 rubs on both sides.
Both products did a fair job but it is clear that the Nuvite is superior in how fast it cuts raw rough aluminum.

Since most of us won't be using either of these products I will continue testing on other parts as the need arrives so stay tuned.

No doubt.
You mean I should follow the directions?
Apply Sparingly and polish with a terry towel or wool "compounding" pad on circular buffer (1600-2000 rpm) until polish and oxidation residue disappears (About 60 seconds).
That takes all the fun out of it.
I'm saving that for the hi gloss stuff to be done later but I may go back and re-do the rough aluminum just to see what difference it makes.
