Whoa!!!! This stuff was still working?
I figured that I would start this off with a clutch basket from a 01 CR250

From ruins to one of the most comprehensive KX500 engine builds on line.
At least something good came from a bad situation.

No need for pics on this one...
Customer comes in with a real clean 05 YZ250 2T.
Said that he just got it, rode it for about 30 minutes and it died.
It was his first bike.
We got talking about it and he told me that he mixed the oil to fuel perfect.
Me: So how much oil did you put in the gas?
Customer: I put a quart in 1 gallon of gas.
Me: A full qt in 1 gallon?
Customer: Yes.
Me: Well this is gonna cost you big time.
Customer looks very concerned....
I took a plug off the shelf and sold it to him.
Then explained how to mix the oil and told him to drain the fuel in the bike ect...
Customer: That's it?
Me: Yep

A customer comes in with a 91 YZ250.
He says there is a weird rattling noise.
So he starts is up, Rattle, Rattle, Rattle.
Yep, it sounds like you need a new top end.
Couldn't be, he says, the guy I bought it from says he put a new top end in it last summer and it only has 10 hours on it.
Well, let's take a look, I said...
The customer was blown away......

I think it is a 89 YZ250 but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
If your looking for a junk case of something specific let me know because I have a scrap pile full of them waiting to go to the re-cycler...
