I don't know the exact time but it was morning, almost noon.
Myself, my Son, and a friend of mine were on a ATV trail checking the area for potential riding spots when out of the east we heard a strange crackling, vibrating, humming sound.
It was almost like what you hear when your near a high power line but much deeper.
At the same time it was very low in pitch and I almost couldn't hear it.
Even though I know I was looking at it, my brain took a few seconds to realize what I was looking at.
A UFO?
I reached into my camera bag as fast as I could.
It seemed like I was in slow motion trying to dig through the camera strap and computer cables.
I got it out after what seemed like an eternity.
I didn't check the settings, I just tore the lens cover off, turned it on and zoomed in and hit the button and then it was gone from my view finder.
This is what I shot.
Look just above the cliff.
I know what your thinking, "FAKE"
Well you weren't there and I assure you, everything in the pic is real.
I'm not saying this thing was full of little green aliens.
It's probably a test vehicle.
I don't believe it was manned due to the way that it accelerated away.
I have been to a lot of air shows over the years and I assure you that no fighter jet I have ever seen on full afterburner can accelerate that fast.
It was there one second and gone the next.
When I tried to snap another pic it was gone.
It happened so fast that I didn't even realize what happened to it looking through the view finder.
My son and friend told me it went straight up and was out of site before I could even look up.

Here is the trail we were on.
If your in the area, check it out but we found no visible signs of it.
Anybody know if there is a research facility out there or a base of some kind?

It's all in the arm.
Seriously, we just tossed it up and I made sure the camera was zoomed out which made it look further away then it really was..

I thought about doin something like that.
That is really funny.
When I first starting readin it I was like WHAT?
