i'm thinking of installing an electric start. has anyone converted YZF to elec start?
what parts do i need?

Just winging it here as I don't know anyone who has tried this.....
Wr250F left case, may be the right as well, starter, relay, switch, battery, battery box, starter clutch asy (Bunch of parts there), stator, flywheel, possibly other stuff as well.

how much would this cost? do you have the parts?

I don't have a single one of those parts
Cost?
I think you would be better off finding a bottom end off eBay, using what you need and selling the rest.
You would probably recoup a lot of your cost if you are patient..
You would need a 03 or newer to get the electric start..
Right now there is none on eBay but if your patient you'll find one.
We just run into them very often like we do the YZ250F's.
I guess it all boils down to riding style and age group
