Clutch actuator lower bearing removal

Greetings friends. Anyone have any experience with removing the lower of the two bearings for the clutch actuator arm? I have recently purchased the motion pro blind bearing puller which worked flawlessly for the upper bearing, but the body of the puller is too wide and will not allow the tool anywhere near deep enough in the hole to grab the lower bearing. I've wandered the internet looking for answers. There were a handful of the same question, one specifically for the KX500 even, yet not a single one got a real answer. The two or three answers I did find were varying degrees of damaging the case if you want it out including: drill a hole through the case and use that hole to smash the bearing and try to rip it out, somehow weld a bolt to the bearing, and just have a go at it with a punch/chisel until there's nothing left of it or it's smashed enough to rip out. For obvious reasons, these are all unacceptable solutions. I also tried the three local bike shops, also with no success. Shop one was scared to do the job and even if I talked the tech into trying it, it would be at least $50. Shop two said they could do it no problem but the wait time would be about six weeks. Shop three just didn't have any appropriate tools for the job. If anyone has any advice to get that little guy out, I would appreciate the heck out of it.
