...that book I posted a photo of is by Gordon Jennings. Here's something that I found about him on Wikipedia:
"Jennings, a self-educated engineer and journalist, worked on and off as a technical and contributing editor for two decades after his editorship. He was beloved among Cycle readers—known for his acerbic wit, his technical know-how, his easy-to-understand project and "basic" articles, and his 1973 Two-Stroke Tuner's Manual, which is still highly sought after by tuners.[6] He was also editor-in-chief of Car and Driver Magazine, another Ziff-Davis publication, from 1970-1971."
I used to love reading his articles back in the '70s in Cycle magazine. Kevin Cameron also wrote for Cycle. They were both incredibly smart gurus.
BTW, though it's off-topic, I had to temporarily put aside my KX500 project due to "too much to do and not enough time to do it". Hopefully, I'll get it done in time to ride next spring.
