WHAT THE MXA WRECKING CREW IS UP TO
Is had been a long time in the works but MXA, MRE and KX Guru Racing finally came together for the ultimate 500cc shootout. Both bikes have 2016 KTM 250SXF chassis’ with the red bike having a CR500 engine and the green bike a KX500 engine. Both these bikes are anything but stock. We are doing a full shootout in the February issue of MXA.




We called this bike a KTX500e. Yes the “e” stands for electric start.




And we called MRE’s build the KTR500. Ain’t she pretty.




Josh Mosiman started as the KTX500e tester.




While Ezra Lewis rode the KTR500.

When Jason Tanner and I built our first induction crank engine Steve Parris told me that it gave better top end lubrication and cooling. This is what the piston looks like with 30 hours of Pro level riding on it.

With our recent trip to Glen Helen for the KX Guru Racing build off with Adam MillAr over with I thought it would be a good time to share with you some good times... Thankfully, Adam is a good sport... To get his bike down to Glen Helen Adam shipped his bike from Canada to me in Oregon and I hauled it in Jason Tanner's trailer down to Oscars place... His crate was sitting in my shop for a couple of weeks. I didn't dare touch his bike but here was a blank canvas waiting for some art work..





Mike Weir Should I? Of course I should, After all I will likely never have a opportunity like this again... Every time I passed by I had to laugh... Sorry Adam... Ok, I'm not




But wait, the decorations were not complete... That's better....

Seriously, Adam did a awesome job with his bike... Nothing but respect..
