Ok... Finally, it's ready for some touch up welds, then off to sandblast, and finally Powder coat..
Unimpressive to say the least but it's a big step forward..

It's time to start working on the rear brake caliper..
Here is what I am starting with..
The goal is to get rid of all the casting flaws, markings, logos, ect.

This cylinder was beat...bad...
It was sleeved and whoever did it had the sleeve badly misaligned not only vertically but also on the radius

Because it was in such bad condition and I really don't like sleeves I never thought I would be using it.
But, I have some test I want to do and if I jack this cylinder up I don't really care...
Ok... I do care but not as much as some of the nicer cylinder I have

Before we sent it out to have it bored and decked we did a rough bore and then did some preliminary port work.
Then we sent it to Tom Morgan Racing to have it final bored and decked...
Tom does very nice work.
I have not checked the bore yet but I'm sure it will mic out perfectly... or close enough for this cylinder
