Received the head but it needed a bit of work...
I sure could have used my Vapor Blaster but I used what I had...
No lapping compound or surface plate.... So, a little sand paper and a piece of glass worked in a pinch..

We had some nice triple clamps but no steering stem..
So into the press this one went..

Suspension linkage... Everything was cleaned in the bucket and every bearing and seal was replaced.
Emig dog bones were used to help change the KX500 handling characteristics..
With about an hours worth of scrubbing these sure came out clean

Jason is hooking up the boot to the inlet side of the carb.. Always a pain when dealing with a 20 year old piece of rubber and using a 10mm reed spacer... But, a lot easier to do it now then after the bike is built
