After 1 hour the Rustoleum is gone :o
After a hour the VHT 550 is still there but gooey :(

Right cool project. I've use vht stuff on a pipe before, baked on per instructions. Didn't stick for .... Went back to good old barbecue black. Be sure to scratch test before committing . My stuff was glassbeaded even.

Wow that surprises me.
I have used VHT for about 35 years and through several car and truck projects and always had good success.
I wonder why the problem :?:
After the current products have been tested I will probably try some clear powder coating.... But that is for another thread :D

Excellent test! It will be interesting to see how the others fare. What kind of oven are you using?

It's a small convection oven.
I'm looking to replace it with a full sized oven so we can make hangers for parts and bake en-mass :D .
Then eventually I will get a second oven.
My plan is to cut the sides out of both ovens and weld them together so we can powder coat some frames.
