'87 KX500 project

Post by 60something »

Finally got my engine all together after months of searching for parts. Working on the rest of the bike now. It started out as a "fix up", but snowballed into "make it like new". Thanks for all the advice Sandblaster! BTW, a couple of your gears are in there! :D

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I stepped away from this project from mid-summer until now due to lack of time, but just looking at all this KX stuff is getting me fired up to make sure I get it done for the Spring!! :)

Well, here I am 4 years later. I got sidetracked and lost interest, but I got on this site and am starting to get motivated again. Going to put the whole works in the basement & work on it this winter. For sure. :D
