Re: KX500 foot pegs. What else will work?
I just got a update from the member that started this thread and the pegs he bought from eBay did not fit.
If you don't mind a little grinder here and there, you can use the following pegs
Torque one sent us some killer foot pegs for a YZ450F for Sean Colliers bike "The Beast".
But they won't fit on a KX500.

So, the first thing we gotta do is remove these tubes..

Calling Mr. Sawsall..

But they still won't fit...

So into the vice for a little hand work..

Grind, grind, grind, file, file, file...
Check it often... Unless you have a mill, then just mill it to the correct thickness..

But, your still not done...
You will need to remove some more material as shown in yellow.
Go slow and do a ton of test fitting..

Then a little clean up on the buffer..

Re: KX500 foot pegs. What else will work?
On my Supermoto I used some pegs from a 1999 - 2015 YAMAHA YZ85/YZ125/YZ250/YZ250F/YZ400F/YZ426/YZ450F

Sorry, I don't have a bunch of pics to show how I did it...
But all I used was a hand grinder and a file...
