It's funny that we like stuff that scars us so bad that we shake afterwards and yet go back and do it again

Funny you'd put it like that, My comment on having my first 500 was that I'd shake like a cat shitting razor blades everytime I got on it for like a half an hour then I'd relax & it'd just flow. That lasted for the first 6 months, just the fear of this could really hurt me if something goes wrong. Of course then the how can we make this faster kicks after that

Yep, more power always seems like a good idea after you stop changing your shorts after every ride... :o

Steve O's first race this year was at the California Speedway about 3 weeks ago.
Because he came in late in the season and had no points he started dead last
He's racing his BMW 1000RR in WERA's Super Stock class.
He finished 11th out of 16 riders with a bike that he was still getting dialed in.
In fact, he left the track at one point, got passed by guys he had already passed, managed to hold it together and get back on the track, and passed all the guys again.
The with two laps left he went to use the front brake and nothing.... :o :o :o :o :o
So, he managed to hold it together for two laps with no front brake...
Brass or Stainless? :D

His second race was this last weekend at Las Vegas.
He started 9th and finished 4th out of 18 guys.
His rear suspension was a little harsh which chewed up his rear tire.

Pictures just never seem to convey the real depth of the problem.

His next race is at the end of April in Vegas.
I am going to be there and get some pics and possibly some vids.
He should start in 4th.
I'm not asking for much, just a podium finish :D
