Re: Sean Colliers KX500 build
Thanks!
I wish I had some hand in it but really I didn't do much.
I said... Oh yeah... I like that one....
Daniel Osterman the Art Director for Fast House worked with Oscar to design the graphics and N-Style Motocross Graphics made them for Sean.
Sean wanted to go with a more retro look which is why we used a older style front and rear fender.
I'm sure this won't be the last version of these graphics.
The next set we have made I will chip in to get some for my bike

Re: Sean Colliers KX500 build
You guys did a really good deed for Sean.
I love that bike you built.
If Sean decides that he does not like it I will be happy to have it.
I looked at the pics but did not see any info on the engine specs. I'm really curious. Are you guys gonna share?

Re: Sean Colliers KX500 build
Welcome to the forum.
At this time we don't want to get any more specific.
We are still developing the engine.
While the preliminary results are nothing short of amazing I think there is more to be had on the bottom and mid range and that is what we are really focusing on here..
All of us at KX Guru watched some raw footage of the debut of this bike at Glen Helen and we were all very impressed.
Eventually we will be offering Sean's engine configuration once we settle on the exact specs.
Of course the specs can change depending on the type of event that Sean will be riding.
For now I will tell you that we used most every trick that the old Team Green mechanics used as well as a few they didn't.
Again, this engine was very impressive.
Sean made a few comments regarding how well it hooks up and it showed in the video.
Hopefully we will get to see a production cut before long that we can share with the public.
For now, stay tuned as there is much more to come

Re: Sean Colliers KX500 build
Here is Sean taking his break in ride, from the pits to the starting gate...
No break in ride, no adjustment or shake down ride, simply jumping on and riding...
Oh no... A little late on the gas..

Re: Sean Colliers KX500 build
No matter... even though Sean started on the far right side by the first corner he was in third...
Oh look... Jeff Emig is in second...
Taste good?
Great! There is plenty where that came from
