Gnarliest 19" rear tire?

Post by 81cr450 »

What the widest, biggest lugged 19" rear tire you can get your hands on ? Any recommendations ? This is a 2 stroke 500 question if that helps

I make no claim as to the quality of any tires.
All my tires are used so I ride whatever I have 8-)
Michelin makes a 130/70-19 = 5.12" wide
S12 XC for soft terrain Retail 133.99
M12 XC for intermediate terrain Retail 139.99
I have seen them for 91.00 with free shipping.
I'd measure your clearance because I think you may rub on the chain :o

I know I wouldnt buy tires parting out like you do :D

Smokin deal for one of your suggestions $76.95. Not me selling, or buying at the moment for that matter, just a good deal.

Chain rub is a good thing, it means you cant go much wider

Yeah, Michelin is letting small time dealers like me buy them for about that much so the big fish can really kick my can...
