Pro Circuit dogbones on Ebay, cheap. Maybe...

Post by demographic » Fri Jul 04, 2014 5:41 pm

Just spotted this linkage on the US Ebay site, its nothing to do with me and I already have a set but the milled grove looks to me like its the same as mine, also there looks to be writing on it and I think it says Pro Circuit. Takes a bit of a squint to see it though.

Now, mine are the 132.5mm size that quite a few people like.

I can't remember if Pro Circuit ever did them in the standard length either. but if I was looking for parts...

Thanks Demo...
I just asked him about the condition of the bearings and the length of the dog bones.
If the length is correct I'll buy them :D

Be aware of the fact that I've also posted this info on KXriders so there might be competition.

I'm 95% sure the dogbones are Pro Circuit and if I didn't have some already I would have bought them myself.

Yep... I saw that you posted them on kxriders first :D
If some one else gets them first it's no biggie.
I can always get them from Emig Racing.

Looks to be some great products on that site. I seem to remember that they were maybe doing some adjustable dogbones?
Have they produced any yet?

I've seen pictures of the Devol adjustables in Eric Gorrs book and also online but as far as I know Devol stopped producing them some time ago.
They had an octagonal insert with an off centre hole that could be removed from the octagonal hole in the dogbones and rotated to adjust the length.
I can fire some pictures up if you want as I copied some from the net ages ago.

I'd love to see some pics.
I may have seen them before but I'd like to be sure.
Emig talked about making some adjustable dog bones but as far as I know they never made any.
The guy with the dog bones on eBay still has not responded to my questions,
Not surprising as he may be off for the holiday..

I searched around and could not find the adjustable dog bones as you described but, I found some others.
Most I would not use on a mx machine...

The dog bones just sold.
I guess I should have just bought them instead of making a offer.
Oh well... the tight side of me won out :D
