Anyone know where I can get one?

I'm possibly coming into this slightly from left field but I remember a motorbike bike racing in the UK that didn't have an alternator to power its spark.
Instead it had a De-Walt cordless battery.
Anyway, fast forward a few years and one of my brothers has an LED light on the front of his pushbike that's honestly better than the lights I've had on all my bikes apart from my 89 GSXR.
I got to thinking that some of the new cordless batteries have 4 AH, plus they slide into the drill/whatever body from the front and are dead easy to change over in a few seconds, now I've not tried it yet (my Hitachi rattle gun is still working perfectly at the moment and I'm not prepared to hack it to bits when its making me money) but I think that these new LED lights might just be a workable idea off a total loss lighting system.
I wonder if you could use a 14.4 volt one instead of 12 cos 14.4 is what voltage normal charging systems max out at anyway. I'd be pretty surprised if motorcycle indicators, horn, taillight and whatever couldn't handle it. That only leaves the bicycle light that would need resistors and so on.
One things for sure, I'm not impressed with the supposed 35 watt coil and normal incandescent bulb I fitted to mine ages ago.

Re: 12V 5AH lithium Ion Polymer battery
I ended up using a Shorai Lithium Iron battery and a HID light.
I agree that the LED's available today are more then sufficient to handle the head light needs of the average dual sport bike.
You also right on the 35 watt coil... perhaps if you ran 12k rpm it might put out 35 watts but most of the time it puts out about half of that.
So, I bought a complete MZB ignition system.
It replaces all the electrical and gives you 100 watts to play with.
I haven't installed it yet but it sure looks cool in the box
If it's ok, can you tell us what you do to earn dough with your Hitachi?
And I'll bet you could rig up a sweet lighting system with a 14.4 battery...

Oh, yeah. I'm a carpenter.
I like the look of those MZB systems but they are a bit too spendy for my limited budget at the moment.
Would love one but its not happening for a while yet. My KX (well both of them) could do with a bit of work done on them and I don't expect I'll have the time and money (got a fair bit of work left to do on my house) to do much with them for a while now. They are sort of in a holding pattern in the shed.

Those MZB systems are expensive.
I traded for mine over several months...
Now it sits in a box because I don't have the time to fiddle with it...
In fact, my Supermoto is half apart waiting for my attention....
Probably won't get to it till it's time for another ride
