Found an 18 year old pipe in my stash. What’s it worth?

Post by Salt Lake K5 Guy » Fri Mar 27, 2020 6:15 am

Hey all.
I was cleaning out the shelves in my shop tonight, and stumbled across something I forgot I had. The stock pipe off of my 02 KX500. It has probably 3-5 rides on it, and no dents or bends. Just some scuffing of the original coating half way up the fat section. (Idiot friend shitty tie down placement. Frankly, it’s the reason I changed the pipe with like 15 hours on the bike) Anyway, I was just wondering what it might be worth out there? I’m not planning on letting it go, but I would put it in the right hands for the right reasons. (Maybe someone doing a totally stock restoration for display, or something like that?) I might keep it for just that reason. I’m thinking of retiring mine at 20.

Thanks,
Brent.

It will all depend on who is looking for one and what they want to spend :D
That said you can usually get 100 and up for them.
The closer to perfect they are then more you can get.
There is a guy selling one for 250... :o :o :o

If bikes are for kids I'll never grow up.
