I always wanted to try this but never had the correct tools to try it.
Now that I dumped a wad of cash at CC Specialties I'm ready to give it a go.
While this is a practice cylinder I don't want to ruin it as there is some interesting plans for it...

Since I run a decompression head I don't need the little decompression reliefs so on my person version I will weld them in and blend them in.
That way I will be able to have a greater trapped volume

When welded, bored, and plated, the exhaust port will look like this
