Cool... I'll clean it up a bit and get it shipped today.
I will also upgrade your shipping to first class and get it there in a few days.
Thanks!

If it costs more for the shipping, save your money. It'll most likely sit on a shelf while I finish other pieces. ;)

When I do this adjustment, is it necessary to replace the gasket, GASKET,FLOAT CHAMB
11009-1716. Or can I use Yamabond?

If the old gasket is bad get a new one. You should not need any Yamabond..

That's what I figured out after reading the service manual. :?

In the service manual I see a mention to a "zero" line on the fuel level tool that you buy from Kawasaki.

"Hold the gauge vertically against the side of carburetor body so that the "zero" line is several millimeters higher than the bottom edge of the carburetor body."

And..

"Keeping the gauge vertical, slowly lower the gauge until the "zero" line is even with the bottom edge of the carburetor body."

And..

"Do not lower the "zero" line below the bottom edge of the carburetor body. If the gauge IS Lowered and then raised again, the fuel level measure shows
somewhat higher than the actual fuel level. If the
gauge is lowered too far, dump the fuel out of it
into a suitabie container and start the procedure
over again."

For reference, these are on page 2-9.

Do these have any bearing on the procedure outlined above?

Lol... I don't know.
I don't have one of their fancy gauges and my manual does not show anything so I can't really see...
Just hook up the home made unit and hold the carb straight upright.
You should be able to see the level clearly.
