How to upload pics in this forum

Post by Sandblaster » Wed May 08, 2013 3:49 pm

Loading pics with this software can be a bit confusing so if you were lost, your not the only one... :D

So your madly typing away with one finger and it's time to add a pic.
Look down at the bottom of your window that your typing in.
You will see three tabs.
Options, Upload attachments, and Poll creation
1.PNG
1.PNG (4.1 KiB) Viewed 6103 times
Click on the Upload attachments tab.
Once you do you will see the screen change to look like this:
2.PNG
2.PNG (4.96 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
Now, click on the Browse button
3.PNG
3.PNG (5.17 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
From there you need to browse to wherever your pic is at on your computer.
Every computer is set up a bit different so if you don't know how to browse to where your pics are at you will need to get someone on your end to help you :(
My computer looks something like this..
5.PNG
5.PNG (39.98 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
So, you have selected the pic you want to upload.
Note that you should now see an address in the Filename box
6.PNG
6.PNG (7.18 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
If you don't see the address in the Filename box you need to browse again and make sure you double click on the file you want to select.
Once you see the file name in the Filename box then click on Add The File
7.PNG
7.PNG (7.59 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
If you did it correctly you will be back at the beginning of your post.
Mine looks like this:
9.PNG
9.PNG (16.89 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
So, where do you want your pic to be placed in the thread?
Simply click where you want to post the pic.
In this case, I will post the pic directly under this line
9-1.PNG
9-1.PNG (10.29 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
Then, click on the Place In Line button
9-2.PNG
9-2.PNG (9.08 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
You should now see the code where your cursor was blinking
9-3.PNG
9-3.PNG (7.44 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
When your all done, click on the Submit button
9-4.PNG
9-4.PNG (7.22 KiB) Viewed 6102 times
Now your all done.
It seems like a lot of work but in reality it takes less then a minute once your use to the procedure.
Any comments or ways to make this easier?
Let me know.
If bikes are for kids I'll never grow up.
