Dog Bones KX500

Post by Sandblaster » Fri May 10, 2013 1:50 am

I finally got new dog bones installed on my 2000 KX500.
We'll see how these do this weekend...

Ride report.
Turning? People say it makes the bike turn easier.
Riding on the sand I couldn't tell any difference.
Riding over the whoops?
No more bucking.
Having had my suspension dialed in for my weight had already eliminated a lot of that problem.
After installing these shorter dog bones it is all but eliminated.
If you are considering buying these for your bike, I can say they are well worth the expense.
Thanks goes to Motorrad for getting these made.
