Shift star modification.

In the midst of so many other projects I'm thinking about modifying my shift star as shown below.
The reason for this modification is to improve shifting by giving a more positive shift.

Have you ridden a bike with this mod.? I have not had good luck personally, with shift mods.(Maybe Mine was not done properly)And my friends that race carts, went back to stock. (real outlaw 500cc dirt/shifter carts) I realize that is not exactly the same. Just some info.

I am very interested in knowing the out come.(and the measurements)

And maybe we can start doing shifter cart mods......

I have never tried it.
I do have a few extra's to ruin

I am interested in shifter carts so feel free to post anything you want on them.
I would think if that mod works on one it should work on the other.
I'll post more on this mod later.
