Leo Sadzewicz: I’d like to mention the kx250 has 3D mapping which is one of the things that makes this mod SO sweet
The power D just has one curve to my knowledge and cannot support a tps or a power jet.
That is the reason I didn’t buy the power D

Update from Leo Sadzewicz:
Timing needs to be here or even a little more advanced or top end will be a little flat

Update from Coby Hosford
One thing to add is make sure the plug that’s is being used is of the resistor type.
I went ahead and put on that and a resistor ceramic plug cap.
If not a person will experience some issues with the rpm switch stability due to rfi from the plug .

Leo Sadzewicz jetting info..
4000’
#9 slide
172
58
A N82N 3rd has best top end
A N89D 3rd slightly richer at full throttle.
#55 power jet is too rich.
40 works great but I haven’t tried a 42,45, or 48 yet. Just ordered them

Something that I noticed about the pwk38 airstriker I used is that I did not have to modify the carb when I did the conversion. I believe there may be 2 styles of the carb. A normal one and s shortbody version. All I needed to do was add a sleeve to the carb intake to the filter boot and clamp both on . There are probably several things that can be ised to do this but I a plumbing pipe reducer from the outer of the intake side of the carb to the inside of the boot. I think it was a 2&1/2” to a 2”. But it didn’t fit the carb perfect so I took a pipe the same of of the carb intake got it hot and melted the inside of the reducer to the same size on the inside and formed like a lip that the carb pressed into them clamped it and clamped the other side . So no modification on my carb for whatever reason...

Good info.
Yes, there is a short body and a standard body air striker.
Earlier versions are standard.
The newest version is a short body.
