How to safely remove your dirt bike wheel brake rotors

How to safely remove your dirt bike wheel brake rotors.
It sounds simple enough.
Yet we see them with stripped out allen head bolts all the time.
Why?
Two reasons.
1. The Allen head bolts have heads about half as deep as a normal Allen head.
2. If they are correctly installed the Allen head bolts are installed with thread locker.
Here is the project:

See how shallow the Allen heads are?

So, here is a picture showing you what most of these people have done:

DO NOT DO THIS!!!
The Allen head is too weak to overcome the extra resistance from the thread locker.
Here is your best friend:

Remember, a little heat goes a long way.
It usually takes about 15 seconds or so with map gas to get the thread locker to release.
You will need to experiment to see how long your equipement will take.
Once the Allen head bolts are heated up use a T handle Allen head to break it loose:

If done correctly the Allen head bolts should come off with just a little effort:

All done!
When in doubt, double check with your maintenance manual.
